For years, when folks asked me the meaning behind my paintings (which they LOVE to do), I struggled to respond – feeling like I needed an intellectual answer to explain the meaning behind my work.

Over the years, I’ve become more connected to all the reasons I step up to the canvas, and all these motivations boil down to some simple core beliefs.
These discoveries have done wonders in helping me answer the question, “What does it mean?” in a way that feels genuine and firmly rooted in my own personal experience.
