Last week I told you to mark your calendars for the very first Real Time Virtual Painting Party, and it was great to receive so many enthusiastic replies.

I believe gathering together to create and connect in meaningful ways is just the kind of medicine the world needs right now, and thanks to the magic of technology, we can do just that.

I also know how hard it can be to show up to our creative practices (riiiight?), so I hope this virtual painting party gives you the perfect nudge of accountability you need to show up and get painting and moving… yes, there will be dancing too. 🙂

What exactly happens at a Real Time Hangout? Great question.

This is uncharted territory and much of our experience will unfold spontaneously, in the moment… in real time! I do plan to work on a new large-scale acrylic painting and share tips and tricks along the way, but this will be less of a specific “art lesson” and more about simply being together and seeing what wants to happen organically.

So many of my philosophies can be applied to both life and any creative medium, so you are welcome to work on whatever project your heart desires. Just be sure to have something to keep your hands moving! There will also be time for Q + A and in-the-moment conversation and connection, so please feel free to chime in live with your comments and questions.
