It’s ‘Sweet Reminders Friday’ brought to you by two of my favorite wisdom keepers…
All the possibilities of your human destiny are asleep in your soul. You are here to realize and honor these possibilities. When love comes in to your life, unrecognized dimensions of your destiny awaken and blossom and grow. Possibility is the secret heart of time.— John O’Donohue from Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom
The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time.― Mary Oliver from Blue Pastures
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?― Mary Oliver from New and Selected Poems
We do not need to go out and find love; rather, we need to be still and let love discover us.— John O’Donohue from Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom

Love back to you. And this quote from The Art of Loving by Eric Fromm. “To love someone is not just a feeling, it is a decision and a promise. Feelings come and go”. It is an art, that we keep on creating. xoxox

My Dad said to me a few months before he died –
“I don’t know about all this religion stuff – what I do know is God is Love”
Thanks Dad – you may be gone physically, you are still in my head and our relationship seems to grow stronger without Mummy’s jealousy which kept us apart for so long!
Thanks Flora for deep sharing in this blog I am so glad we met at COTWS! xxxxx

Reading ‘Anam Cara’ inspired me to go, on my own, to Connemara , a beautiful and wild area on the Irish West Coast for two weeks in 2010. I was touched to the core! Great book, great author!
