I hope you’ve been staying cozy and creative in these darkening days.
Today, I have a fun time-lapse painting video to share with you, and I also want to let you know that this Saturday is the final Real Time Live session of the year.
It’s been such a pleasure to connect with so many of you for an entire year of monthly art dates. Thank you so much for sharing this time with me.
For those of you who haven’t experienced one of my two-hour, live-streamed classes (and for those of you who have), I would love for you to join me this Saturday, December 7th, from 4 pm – 6 pm PST for the grand finale.
You can also check out all the past Real Time Live episodes right here.
I love these live sessions because, well, they’re live, which means everything is very in-the-moment, unplanned, and real. Thus the name

In Saturday’s class, I’ll paint on a large, unstretched canvas, and I’ll also demonstrate how I seal, sign and add wires to my finished paintings. As always, there will be plenty of time to ask questions, including any creative business questions you may have.
While this is the last official Real Time Live offering of this series, I’m excited to continue using this live-streaming technology with some impromptu sessions in the coming year. Stay tuned!
Saturday’s class also comes with the following bonus goodies:
- “What Can Love Do?” (video)
- “How To Find Inspiration From Other Artists?” (video)
- “Questions to Ask Yourself When You’re Stuck” (downloadable PDF)
- Links to my favorite podcasts and books
- Downloadable art just for you
- The Real Time Live Volume Twelve music playlist
- My latest collection of favorite quotes
I hope to see you there!
With love,
Flora

In this heart-to-heart with my friend, Andrea Scher, I share why The Art of Aliveness feels like such a huge turning point in my life and career. You’ll see my new silver hair pulled up and off my face, which in and of itself feels like a testament to this moment. I realize how long I’ve been hiding behind my bangs and hats.
