I hope this finds you full of deep breaths and sparks of inspiration and hope. It’s a gorgeous Spring day in Portland, and I have something very exciting to share with you.
Some of you know that my dear friend and creative collaborator, Lynzee Lynx, and I have been passionately developing ways to support artists seeking their unique painting style for many years.
We initially developed and shared our curriculum through a number of in-person retreats, which eventually inspired us to create the Fresh Paint Online Course.
So many success stories emerged from the online course that we decided to make our style-seeking map even more accessible by creating a real life, hold in your hands, cover it in paint, refer back anytime FRESH PAINT BOOK.
And today I get to show you the front cover (always an exciting moment!)…
Inside Fresh Paint, you’ll find a wide range of mixed-media art techniques, movement, meditation, and writing practices all based around the experience of creating 100 small paintings on paper.
Lynx and I thoroughly enjoyed the process of pouring our hearts (and nerdiness on this topic) into this book for you, and we sincerely hope it serves to uplift and inspire work that feels more satisfying and more YOU.
If you’re ready to offer your one-of-a-kind vision to the world, set your work apart from the crowd, and avoid the common pitfall of creating art that is overly derivative of other artists, we wrote this book is for you!
Sending love and support your way,

In this heart-to-heart with my friend, Andrea Scher, I share why The Art of Aliveness feels like such a huge turning point in my life and career. You’ll see my new silver hair pulled up and off my face, which in and of itself feels like a testament to this moment. I realize how long I’ve been hiding behind my bangs and hats.
