REUNITE is a virtual painting retreat intended to make you feel like you’re right here with me in my Portland art studio.

With just the right mix of clear instruction, loving guidance, live calls, recorded videos, community space, and the freedom to move at your own pace, REUNITE gives you a front-row seat to my popular Bloom True painting retreat.  Except here, you can skip the hotels, rewind the videos, work at your own pace, and be in the comfort of your own home.

For years, I’ve dreamt of finding a way to share the magic and impact of my live painting retreats with more people in more places. I’m so happy to say: This is it.

Welcome to REUNITE.

“Life changing – more than what you would ever expect from a painting course, let alone an online painting course.”

– Leilani P.

Zoom Calls

REUNITE includes eight live community Zoom calls offered at different times to account for various timezones. (See the FAQs for specific dates and times).

Our Zoom calls offer a space to gather live as a community, ask questions and receive additional support. Each Zoom call will be recorded and available to watch at any time.

At the end of each call, we’ll invite you to join smaller break-out rooms with about six people to connect more intimately with your REUNITE community. These break-out rooms are optional but they have been known to spark lasting creative friendships between REUNITERS around the world!

Pre-Recorded Lessons

In addition to our Zoom calls, you’ll have access to sixty professionally shot, beautifully edited, pre-recorded videos. In the videos, you’ll see me guide an amazing group of people through one of my painting retreats, from start to finish.

From painting demonstrations to soulful conversations, dance breaks, and one-on-one conversations, these videos are intended to make you feel like you’re right in the room with us. You’ll get to see and hear it alllll.

Remember, these videos are pre-recorded, so you can watch them at any time and/or refer back to them later on for support.

Open Studio Zoom Room

During the live retreat, you’ll also have access to an Open Studio Zoom Room, twenty-four hours a day. You can pop into this virtual space anytime you need support from your community or if just want to have some company while you paint.

Many of our past REUNITERS loved having the Zoom Room open in the background as they moved through the lessons, with spontaneous conversations happening along the way.

One-On-On Sessions With Flora

Throughout the live retreat, I’ll join you in the Open Studio Zoom Room to offer one-on-one support about individual paintings.  I’ll let you know the specific times this is happening the day before, and I’ll do my best to support as many of you as possible during the allotted timeframes.

Many past students have shared that they’ve learned so much just by listening to these one-on-one conversations with other students. These sessions will also be recorded to watch later on.

You will have access to all the course material, including all the pre-recorded videos, the recorded Zoom sessions, and the creative wellness prompts until December 31st, 2022.

“A fantastic, freeing experience. I learned so much and will be forever changed by the exercises.”

– Kim Lande

“The kind of painting experience we dream of when we think of ‘learning to paint’. It’s a way into painting what feels good and then trusting that.”

– Halima Rogers

What If I Miss the Live Retreat?

No problem. You can still access all the course content until December 31st, 2022 and join our lively private Facebook Community anytime.

Gathering With a Group

You are more than welcome to participate in the retreat on your own (your online community and I will be there to support you!). However, if you do have family members or a “pod” that wants to join you in your household, I wholeheartedly encourage you to (safely) come together and create a real-life, at-home retreat experience.

Please check out the pricing options for group registrations below.

What If I’ve Never Painted?

REUNITE is perfect for first-time painters, seasoned artists looking for more freedom and expression in their work, and everyone in-between. For years, I’ve taught wildly mixed groups in terms of experience level, and it always works out for everyone. So please, come as you are — and don’t be shy.

By the end of the virtual retreat, you will have experienced my entire painting process, from the very first marks to the final touches. You’ll have two large, colorful intuitive paintings, but more importantly, you will be set up for a lifetime of painting and creative expression.

*Remember, if you need to circle back and watch things again (or do the retreat all over again), you’ll have access to all the material until December 31st, 2022.

What can I expect?

“The workshop brought me to a place of possibility & purpose. It renewed my passion to practice, to put in the effort, to love what I love & let go the rest!”

– Mairead O.

REUNITE is designed to work for YOUR life.

There’s really no right or wrong way to REUNITE.

If moving through a virtual retreat in real-time with a live global community feels supportive and helps you with accountability, clear your schedule from February 16th – 20th, 2022. You’ve got a (virtual) painting retreat to attend!

If you’d rather dip in and out of the lessons on your own sweet time, that’s also a great way to experience the retreat. You’ll have access to all the pre-recorded material, the live session replays, and the wellness prompts until December 31st, 2022.

Perhaps you’ll join for some of the live events and also circle back to the recordings when you have time. Perfect. The most important thing is that REUNITE works for you.

When Is REUNITE Happening? When Do I Get Access?

You’ll receive immediate access to the creative wellness prompts as soon as you join REUNITE.

These prompts include things like drawing exercises, creative writing invitations, movement practices, recipes, music playlists, meditations, and more. The prompts are intended to get you warmed up for the virtual painting retreat, but you can do them at any time.

On February 15th you’ll receive access to all the virtual retreat videos. On February 16th, the “live” virtual retreat begins.

What Do You Mean By “Live” Virtual Retreat?

In addition to the sixty pre-recorded REUNITE videos, there are two live elements happening February 16th – 20th: The daily Zoom calls and the Open Studio Zoom Room. That said, if you want a “live” retreat experience, this is the time to jump in!

Remember, if you can’t make it to the live sessions, you will have access to all the replays, along with the recorded videos until December 31st, 2022.

“Possibly the best art experience I’ve ever had.”

– Bobby McPherson

How do I access the course material?

REUNITERS will access the course material by logging into the classroom through the Log In Area at the top of my website. (To log in, you’ll need the username and password generated when you purchase the course). Once you’re logged in, you can access the course by clicking your name at the top of the site. If you wish to change your password at any time, please click the ‘Forgot your password’ link.

More detailed login instructions will be sent to participants through email.

How long do I have access to REUNITE?

REUNITERS will have access to all the course material until December 31st, 2022.

What materials do I need to participate?

A complete list of my favorite painting supplies and suggested materials will be sent to all REUNITERS prior to the virtual painting retreat. Our recorded Materials Zoom call will also cover materials and space prep in depth and detail.

For the month of creative wellness, you will just need a journal, your favorite tools to draw and write with, and some larger pieces of paper if you have them.

For the virtual painting retreat, you will need (at least) two large surfaces to paint on. I suggest 30” x 30,” but larger is even better (more space = more freedom). You can paint on canvas, heavy watercolor paper (a 300-lb. paper will work great), panels (such as pieces of masonite or other wood from the hardware store), old paintings, upcycled doors, or even cardboard. This whole process is about working with what you’ve got!

Acrylic paints come in many different brands, sizes, and prices, and I will share my favorites. However, I always recommend buying paint according to your budget so you can feel free to use it with wild abandon.

Please note that materials are not included in the cost of the course.

How much physical space will I need?

I encourage you to paint as big as you can — ideally on canvases at least 30″ x 30″. You will need enough space to either hang your canvases on the wall, put them on an easel, or place them on a table, while also stepping away for perspective from time to time.

The actual space itself can be anywhere — in your kitchen, bedroom, spare room, garden, garage, or even in the park. Just remember, this can be a messy process, so you’ll want to protect your walls and floors with drop cloths or plastic sheets.

I will share all my tips on setting up your home painting studio and answer your questions about this in our first Zoom call.

Will I be able to communicate with others during the course?

Upon registration, you will receive an invitation to join a private, global REUNITE Community Facebook group. This is a great space to meet and interact with your fellow REUNITERS and share images of your paintings. The REUNITE Facebook group will remain open indefinitely.

Can I ask questions directly to Flora?

Yes! You will have the opportunity to ask direct questions to me during our Zoom calls and when I’m present in the Open Studio Zoom Room.

For any technical or logistic questions, Tina (aka Teamlove) is available Monday – Thursday through email ([email protected]) or the Facebook group (tag Tina Marina).

I haven’t painted before. Is this class for me?

Yes! This class is for anyone who wants to loosen up, become more confident, and explore their creativity in a new, intuitive way.

REUNITE is perfect for first-time painters, seasoned artists looking for more freedom and expression in their work, and everyone in-between.

For years, I have taught to wildly mixed groups in terms of experience levels, and it really works out for everyone. Please come as you are. All are welcome.

I am already a professional artist. Is this class for me?

Yes! Even if you have been painting for years, this class will offer a fresh approach, new techniques, and a unique way of looking at painting from a place of intuition, freedom, and joy.

How do I know if this course is for me?

How is REUNITE different from the Bloom True E-Course?

Great question!

The most striking difference is that REUNITE is presented in a retreat format and it also offers my most current teachings.

While the basic approach to the Brave Intuitive Painting process is similar in both courses, the REUNITE virtual retreat includes sixty original videos that document a live workshop with a group of people, including one-on-one sessions with students as they move through some common challenges. The virtual retreat includes some of the same techniques you’ll find in Bloom True, along with all my latest favorite ways to share this process.

REUNITE also includes seven live Zoom calls, the Open Studio Zoom Room, a month of creative wellness prompts, and a fresh community of REUNITERS.

If you’ve wanted to participate in an in-person workshop with me, REUNITE will give you that experience in a virtual setting.

Do I need a high-speed Internet connection to participate in REUNITE?

Yes, all videos are shot in HD and are high quality, so you will need a fairly high-speed Internet connection to view them. The videos are a vital part of the content of this course, so please do consider this. We are not able to provide alternative viewing options for people on dial-up or on very slow connections. Therefore, please bear this in mind when registering. If you have regular broadband, you should be fine.

What if I have issues playing back video?

If you’re having trouble viewing a video in the course or anywhere else on the site:

  • Try turning off HD.
  • Web-browser issues: Some browsers may not support the Vimeo player. (Older versions of Firefox and Internet-Explorer seem to be problematic). Try launching the classroom in a different Browser: we’re finding Chrome and Safari to be the most stable.
  • Full-screen: Click on the four tiny arrows next to the Vimeo logo to watch the video in full screen. You can use the escape button to return to the post.
  • iPads & Tablets: You may need to install the free Vimeo App.

If problems persist, please send us an email at: [email protected], and we’ll get back to you asap.

Can my family members, housemates, or "pod" take REUNITE with me?

Yes, the more the merrier. REUNITE is based on a retreat format, so if you have a group to “retreat” with, great! It is also absolutely fine to participate in REUNITE on your own — your online community will be there to support you.

How It Works

When one person registers for REUNITE, I invite you to share the experience with your immediate family, the people you live with, or your small “pod” of up to five people who plan to do the retreat together under the same roof. I kindly ask that you purchase another spot for every additional five people who plan to join you, or for each separate household.

Can I give this to a friend as a gift?

Yes! What a great gift to give. Please write to us at [email protected] to inquire about REUNITE Gift Certificates.

What is your refund policy?

If REUNITE does not meet your expectations, we are happy to give you a full refund within one week of your purchase. After that, there are no refunds or extensions for this course. Thank you for understanding.
